CleanSlate started with a real cleaner, a real spreadsheet problem, and a simple idea: the calendar already knows what happened, so the invoice should write itself.

CleanSlate is made by Reverie Ventures, a small team that runs short-term rentals and got tired of watching the cleaning side of the business run on memory and group texts.
We built the first version alongside our own cleaning contractor. Not for her, with her. Every screen got tested against a real billing cycle on real properties before it shipped. The first invoice it ever generated was one she actually sent.
That’s still how we work. We’re not chasing a category buzzword or a marketplace land-grab. We’re building the tool a working cleaner and an honest host or homeowner both wish already existed.
Three things we won’t compromise on.
The cleaner is the primary user.
Most software in this space is built for the host, and the cleaner gets a stripped-down view bolted on the side. We flipped it. CleanSlate is built first for the person actually doing the work, and the host experience is just as good because of it.
No marketplace. No cut.
We don’t take a slice of your pay and we don’t rent out your cleaner. You already have the relationships that matter. Our job is to make the paperwork between you disappear, not to stand in the middle of it.
Getting paid shouldn’t be the hard part.
The cleaning is the work. The invoicing, the chasing, the “did you get my text?” — that is friction nobody signed up for. We built the boring part so it runs itself, in plain language, in four languages.
