Comment facturer les ménages Airbnb sans tableur
Le tableur semble gratuit. Il vous coûte du temps chaque mois et de l'argent chaque année. Voici la façon plus simple de facturer les ménages et de garder des registres fiables au moment des impôts.

Getting paid is half the job.
A host leaves cash on the counter. A homeowner sends a Zelle after a job. Someone pays you on Venmo. That part is fine.
The trouble is the other half. In February you need to know what you made and from whom, and the only evidence is a feed that mixes your work with concerts, babysitting and nights out.
A Venmo or Zelle notification tells you money arrived. It does not tell you which cleans it covered or whether it was the full amount. Cash tells you less. Six months later, a transfer with no note is a number you have to reconstruct, and reconstructing from fuzzy memory is where cleans go missing and where you end up guessing on a form you sign.
A record is the other critical half: what the work was, when, what you charged, and that this money closed it out. Keep that, and how you got paid stops mattering.

For every payment: the date it landed, who paid, how much, the method, and something tying it back to specific cleans. An invoice number does that on its own; without one, a note naming the property and the dates covered will do. Do it the same day, while you still know whether that transfer covered three turnovers or four.
Cash deserves one extra habit: write it down before the bills go in your pocket. Nothing else will remind you it happened.
Your host or homeowner can pay by card or bank transfer right from the invoice. When they pay another way, and plenty do, you record it: the method, a reference, the amount. The invoice closes and locks, with a numbered PDF you can find later.
Cash, Zelle and card jobs all land in the same place, tied to dated cleans at your rates. At tax time, push the year into QuickBooks Online or Xero, or download a CSV. What you hand over is a year of invoices, not a scroll through a payment app.
We aren’t accountants. This is just a record solid enough to hand someone who is.

Start freeIs it fine to get paid in cash?
Yes. What matters is that you report it and can show what it was for, which is a record-keeping question, not a payment-method one.
Do Venmo and Zelle report what I earn?
The rules and thresholds have changed more than once, so check the current ones or ask your preparer. Your income counts whether or not a form shows up, so keep your own records.
Can I record a cash payment in CleanSlate?
Yes. Record it with the method and a reference, and the invoice locks with a numbered PDF.

Planifier par message, les « c'est fait » et le petit rappel gênant du « tu m'as payé ? ». Nous avons accepté beaucoup de friction, en silence. Elle n'a pas à être là.
We assumed every cleaner charged a flat fee, because we did. Building CleanSlate taught us otherwise. Here's what belongs in your rate, and how to set it once.
